Hi everyone!!! I want to thank everyone for your kind wishes, cards, thoughts and prayers during my recent hospital stay. I just returned from Madisonville, KY where I participated in the annual Veteran's Day tribute parade on Sunday November 6th. On Saturday - Madisonville Post 6 legion family hosted a wonderful evening. While there, I was particularly touched when a young man who had been severely burned ( throat and asophagus)in Iraq got up and sang. He had been a recipient of the Wounded Warrior project and had to learn to talk all over again and now he is singing!!! I'm just so glad that God gave me the insight to choose this for my special project. I want to remind you that we are raffling off the reversible quilt at Convention and tickets will be available at all Conferences. All proceeds will go to Wounded Warriors which you know is my special project. My hope is that each unit will have an event just for this purpose.
